At Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop Parish – Rotorua, faith formation is a lifelong journey. Whether you’re a child, teenager, adult, or returning Catholic, we welcome you to grow deeper in your relationship with Christ and the Church.

🧒🏽 Children’s Sacramental Programme

For children aged 9 and above, we offer an 8-week programme preparing them to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Communion, and Confirmation. Parents and sponsors are involved in this journey of faith and learning.

🧑🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏽 Youth & Teens

We accompany our young people through youth gatherings, Confirmation preparation, and service opportunities that help them live their faith in today’s world. Fun, faith, and friendship go hand in hand!

🙋🏽‍♀️ Adults & RCIA

Thinking about becoming Catholic? Our Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) supports those exploring the Catholic faith. It’s open to adults who are unbaptised, baptised in another Christian tradition, or Catholics who missed out on earlier sacraments.

📖 Ongoing Faith Life

Faith doesn’t stop after the sacraments. We offer:

• Scripture study groups

• Prayer groups and devotions

• Formation for parish ministries

• Marriage and family enrichment
